Refunds and cancellations

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid for scheduled sessions or document reviews that have not been fully delivered, subject to the timing rules below. Informational website content is free and not refundable.

Cancellation by you

• More than 48 hours before a live session: full refund of the session fee, or free reschedule to a new slot.
• Within 48 hours of a live session: 50% refund, or one reschedule if we can offer an alternative within two weeks.
• No-show without notice: no refund for that session.

Document reviews

Application Pack Reviews may be cancelled for a full refund before we begin annotated work. Once annotations have started, refunds are partial based on work completed, typically up to 50% if you cancel mid-review. After delivery of annotated files, fees are non-refundable except where files were not delivered as agreed.

Deposits

Deposits used to hold in-person slots in Pinneberg are credited toward the session fee. Deposits are refundable under the same timing rules as session cancellations. Deposits become non-refundable after a no-show.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once at no charge when you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Further reschedules may be treated as cancellations under the timing rules above.

Work already started

If we have already prepared materials for your session (for example, reviewing a CV you sent early), we may deduct a reasonable preparation fee from any refund. We will state that amount when confirming the refund.

Materials

We do not sell physical kits. Digital notes we send after a session are yours to keep; their value is included in the session fee and is not separately refundable after delivery.

Cancellation by us

If we must cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative within a reasonable time, you receive a full refund of prepaid fees for that session.

Refund process and timing

Email info@machinelearnapi.digital with your booking reference and reason. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add several days.

Exceptions

Mandatory consumer rights under German law remain unaffected. This policy does not cover third-party costs such as your own travel to Pinneberg, forklift course fees, or employer hiring decisions.
