Data we collect

  • Contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided, location notes).
  • Message content about certificates, shifts, job ads, or headcount.
  • Technical data such as IP address and basic server logs needed to operate the site.
  • Cookie preferences stored locally in your browser (see our Cookies page).

Purposes and legal bases

We process enquiry data to respond to consultation requests and, where you become a client, to deliver employment consulting (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Website security and essential cookies rely on legitimate interests or necessity for providing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) or (b)). Analytics cookies, if accepted, rely on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Retention

Enquiry messages without a resulting engagement are typically deleted or anonymised within 12 months. Client engagement files are retained as required for tax and commercial record-keeping under German law, usually up to ten years for invoicing records, and shorter for working notes once no longer needed.

Recipients

We use hosting and email providers as processors under contract. We do not sell personal data. We share candidate details with an employer only when you ask us to support a specific introduction and provide the information for that purpose.

International transfers

If a processor stores data outside the European Economic Area, we require appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable under the GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the independent data protection centre for Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).
